Homeschool or Small Group Project Based Learning
Enrich your homeschool curriculum or provide summer academic support with engaging, small-group learning experiences tailored to your students. From writing workshops to project-based research to book clubs, I’ll work with you to design a program that meets your educational goals. Get inspired by some of the ideas below.
Students will explore the art of poetry through reading, writing, revising, and performing their own original work. We'll play with language, experiment with different forms and styles, and build confidence in sharing our voices.
The workshop culminates in a Poetry Slam event where students perform their pieces for friends and family!

Maine History
Symposium
Unlock the techniques of professional historians as you research, analyze, and write about a local history topic that sparks your curiosity. By the end of our multi-week workshop, you’ll collaborate with peers to produce a real, publishable anthology on Maine’s past.
Read & Reason Club
Dive into rich literature, explore big ideas, and learn to make a case! In this project-based book club, students will read and analyze a thought-provoking novel, engage in group discussions, and research real-world issues connected to the text. The workshop culminates in a formal debate, where students take a stand on a central theme of the book.
Business Builders
Put math skills to the test by becomig an entrepreneur! Students will dream up, plan, and develop a small business—learning how to price products and services, calculate expenses, and manage a budget. The workshop culminates in a Shark Tank–style pitch event, where students present their business plans to a panel of "investors" (aka family and friends).
